52 Express World Motorcycle Land Speed Record

Advanced Fuel Systems are delighted to be supporting the all British team's record attempt for the official World Motorcycle Land Speed Record scheduled to take place at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the USA in September 2014.

Double World Superbike Champion James Toseland will be attempting to reach speeds of at least 400mph on the 52 Express Streamliner motorcycle that takes its name from James Toseland's riding number.  The current record stands at 376.363mph. The all British team is being led by former GP & TT Sidecar racer and former holder of the British bike land speed record, Alex Macfadzean and supported by Derby University staff and motorsport students. Testing will be at Easter at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire.

Advanced Fuel Systems is providing advice and input on the fuel system including the fuel safety cell that will be installed in the Streamliner bike.
