September 2015 - Bloodhound SSC 1000 MPH land speed record attempt. Bloodhound SSC was shown to the media for the first time on 24th September 2015. The car is 90% complete and was left with panels removed on one side, hence the Advanced Fuel Systems fuel cells were clearly visible. The car has 4 safety cells containing 550 litres of jet fuel and pumps capable of delivering fuel at a rate of 20 litres per second to the EJ200 jet engine.
